Well, the time has come! Time to take on the New Year! Time to keep doing great things, maybe change some things, whatever you do- make it the BEST. We have reached 2020, for goodness sake! Let's do this!!

Hello All!!

Lots of fun events last week! And well, lots of sugar! In case you are counting, there are 5 days until Winter Break. 

ADVICE: Whatever you do this weekend, do not go near any store. It is crazy out there, trust me! 

Wednesday the 18th is our night at AR Workshop from 7-9pm. 

Friday the 20th is so many things. Our pajama day, Sing Along and Happy Hour! A well deserved Happy Hour, at that!! Then, two weeks to rest and recharge.

My holiday wish for each of you is that you are able to put the work aside and enjoy the things that give you joy.

Good Afternoon! Another great week at Stoneridge! I feel like we are powering through the next two weeks so we can gear up for all of the activities that come A) with the holidays and B) after break:) 

If you are on campus before 7:30 am for the next two weeks, you will need to disarm the alarm when you arrive. Brian is still out. 

Thank you to the elves that decorated the staff room. It looks awesome! 

Tuesday, December 10, we have an evening PTC meeting at Zocalo at 6pm. All are welcome!

Wednesday, December 18th from 7-9pm many of us will be at AR Workshop. There is still space for you to join. I would love to have a big turn out! 

We will have a Holiday Sing Along on Friday, Dec. 20th at 10:15am until recess. We will also have pajama day for the entire school. 

Friday, December 20 is our Happy Hour after school. Thank you, Ally, for setting it up and coordinating. It will be a so nice to get together and relax for a bit. That being said, the question is: Do we rock our PJ's or bring a change of clothes....?

Happy Veteran's Day!

Only two weeks until Thanksgiving Break and that absolutely blows my mind!

Thank you to all of you for all of your work leading up to Jog A Thon and all of the excitement you showed on the day. I will be letting parents know, and if you could also let them know, if we get $40,000 in donations, students will be able to tape me to a wall. We are about $8000 shy of that right now.

Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday are our half day planning days. As of right now, the schedule is as follows.
Tuesday, 11/12: AM-First Grade
Wednesday, 11/13: AM-Fifth Grade; PM-Fourth Grade
Thursday, 11/14: AM-Kinder

Our all school Data Day is 11/20. I will be sharing a schedule for you to request your grade level time slot soon. We will also be sharing info about the data we would like to see.

Holy Cow! November has arrived and conference week is already here. It seems like just yesterday we were talking about the fact that August would not end. Or maybe that was just me? 

Thank you for all of your hard work on Thursday and Friday. I enjoyed all of our grade level  conversations on Friday. I feel so lucky to work with a group of teachers that work so hard for their students. 

As I mentioned, we will be watching the Daniel Rios video as a staff. We can either do it at a staff meeting time, or as I was sitting on my couch tonight, I thought it may be nice to watch it in a more relaxed setting. We can talk about it, but I would like to watch it soon. 

Conference week is here. Short days with the kids, long days with the parents:) As a parent, I know they are are so excited to talk to you and hear your feedback. 

We need a few more volunteers for the Book Fair. I will include this in the parent blog as well.
