Good News/ Bad News: My bad news (not really that bad) turns into good news for us! I will be here on Wednesday so we can have a staff meeting. February 6, 2022

Happy Valentine's Month💗Each time you tell someone else you appreciate them and that they are doing a great job be sure to tell yourself the same thing! We are careful to say kind words to others, but we often say terrible things to ourselves. I know I often tell myself I am not good enough, smart enough, thin enough, etc. But when someone says talk to yourself the way you talk to others, it really hits home! So, talk to yourself, like you talk to others!! Be good to you!

Heads Up: There are rumblings that parents are going to send their kids to school and instruct them not to wear a mask. Honestly, I do not think this will be an issue for us, but you never know! If you have a student refusing to wear a mask. Send them to the office. We will go from there. Thank you!

Dates for report cards

2/7 PLC: Report Card Prep (Really early because we have the next two Monday's off.)

Wednesday, 2/9~ Brooks at DO and 3:30pm PBIS meeting

Friday, 2/11~ 11:15am Proactive Assembly (Details to follow) Please add your PROACTIVE students.

last Week's Walk Up Song was..... Cathy Wallace!!

Here is the song again: Cathy's Walk Up Song

This is why Cathy chose that song: To me, "Buy Dirt" encompasses everything about the American Dream. What really matters is family, loving your work, being charitable, and watching your kids and grandkids grow up. The American Dream belongs to anyone who wants it enough to work hard for it. It can't come for free, and it isn't an entitlement. It can't be given away, because that would be meaningless. Life does go by real quick, and the hard work we put in to buy that bit of dirt, no matter how big or small, is what life is all about. It is where we build our lives from the ground up, with the people who matter most to us. Happiness comes from the love we build all around us, on our own piece of dirt.

Here is this week's Walk Up Song: Mystery Walk Up Song

Let me know who you think it is! Send me your guesses. Come on, give me a guess!! No really, guess!! How well do you know your co-workers??

If you haven't added your song, here is the form: Walk Up Song

Have a great week!
