Before I write anything, I have to acknowledge the shocking loss of Kobe Bryant today. An unbelievable tragedy that offers an opportunity for reflection. We all know that life is precious and can end at any moment. It does not matter who you are or what you have done. Incoming Parent Night is this Thursday, Jan. 30, at 6pm. Please take a look at your grade level slide and make changes, as needed. We just need one representative from each grade level to attend and talk about grade level activities. Kinder, as you are the highlight for incoming parents, thank you for being there! Global School Play Day is coming soon ~ February 5th. Like last year, I am going to leave it up to you to choose what that looks like. It can be integrated into your centers or 30 min of dedicated play. Like I said, you choose and make it your own! Field Day: We will not have field day on a Friday this year because Dan is not here. Please choose which day you think is best: Monday, May 18 or Wednesday, May 20. Please respond ASAP because our 5th Grade Sunsplash Trip may be affected. I have been hurrying to get my grocery shopping and running around done so all I have left to do during the game is fold clothes!! Ha! And if you are paying attention, you will notice I failed.
